Artist Statement:
My artwork explores the essence of peace through the profound interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. Inspired by the visual language of traditional indigenous dot painting, the piece captures a serene twilight where three figures sit in quiet contemplation, gazing at a setting sun. Below the surface, an intricate marine ecosystem, led by majestic stingrays and swirling currents of life, coexists in perfect balance. To me, true peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of harmony. It is the realization that humans, oceans, and all living creatures share the same breath and the same horizon, moving together in a gentle, eternal rhythm.
