Here are some frequently asked questions. We hope these will help guide you as you consider submitting your creative work to Pandora’s Ink digital magazine platform.

​​​Q. How do I submit my work to Pandora’s Ink?
A. To be considered for publication, please email your submissions to creativityunleashed.org@gmail.com. Review our Submission Guidelines page for further information regarding what to include in your email and the format of your material.
Q. What can I submit?
A. We welcome any form of creative expression, including but not limited to:
Visual art: Paintings, drawings, photography.
Writing: Short stories, poetry, dramatic scripts, memoirs, opinion editorials.
We do NOT accept:
Critical essays or classroom assignments.
Q. Are there any theme or content restrictions?
A. No! We encourage creativity in all its forms. Your work can be on any topic, style, or perspective you choose. However, by submitting creative works to Pandora’s Ink, the author promises to respect all other creative and original writers. Therefore, Pandora’s Ink does not accept any AI generated content nor plagiarized submissions, also with acknowledgement that our editors hold the right to refuse publication for any work that marginalizes, bullies or harms the communities in our audience in any way.
Q. How many pieces can I submit?
A. When our submissions’ window is open, we are happy to receive up to 7 pieces per creative.

Q. How many piece might I be able to actually get published?
A. In order to ensure that we are publishing a wide variety of young voices, and expanding our reach as far globally as possible, we are limiting publication to up to 2 pieces for a creative.
Q. Do you accept work in languages other than English?
A. We do not accept work written solely in another language. Our magazine is English based.
Q. Can I submit a translated piece of work?
A. Yes, we accepted works that are translated from their original language into English.
Q. How do you ensure diversity in your editorial process?
A. We accept submissions from young people ages 11-18 from anywhere in the world. When we review the creative material, we seek to reward as many unique and innovative voices as possible, regardless of where they come from.
Q. What is your rejection policy?
A. We aim to inform all creatives who have submitted work to us the result of their submissions via email, whether they have been accepted for publication or not.
Q. Can I request feedback on a rejection?
A. As we are a small team of editors based in different places who do not meet regularly, we cannot provide feedback regarding why a piece of creativity has been rejected for publication. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Q. How often is the magazine published?
A. As this magazine is brand new, we are launching it with our first submission’s window in the summer of 2025. Submissions are closed at this time. Please keep an eye on our website homepage for updates regarding further opportunities to submit your work to us.
Q. Who reads my submission(s)?
A. Your submissions will be carefully reviewed by all 5 of our editors, and also our administrators at CreativityUnleashed Publishing. This is the organization that hosts our website.
Q. Can I volunteer or intern with the magazine?
A. Pandora’s Ink’s members are part of a closed group. If you want to participate in the creation of a magazine, you can contact CreativityUnleashed Publishing. Their administrators will be able to guide you towards other opportunities available through them.
Q. Can I use content from the magazine in classrooms?
A. Yes! Absolutely – but please note that all material needs to be credited to Pandora’s Ink, to CreativityUnleashed or indeed the creative responsible for the work if it taken from our blog. Please email us at pandorasinkemagazine@gmail.com first before using the material.
Q. Do you run writing contests?
A. We do not currently run any writing contests, however if this is something of interest to you, send us an email and we will consider it for the future.
Q. Do you accept simultaneous submissions?
A. Yes! We accept simultaneous submissions and previously published work. However: you’re responsible for ensuring you have permission to share the work with us. If your piece is accepted elsewhere first, please notify us.
Q. What is the response time from Pandora's Ink?
A. Again, as a small team, we cannot predict how long it will take to return emails, or indeed to provide updates regarding publication. Please bear with us.
Q. Is there a submission fee?
A. No! Submitting your work to Pandora’s Ink is absolutely free.
Q. How can I subscribe?
A. There is no subscription needed. Bookmark our website <> and keep an eye on our blog for newly published material.

Q. Do I retain copyright of my work if it is accepted by Pandora’s Ink?
A. Yes! You maintain full rights to your work. Anything we publish will be attributed to you.
Q. How long will my piece stay up on the magazine?
A. The answer to this question really depends on the amount of submissions we receive over the years. We estimate that work will be kept online for 2 years.
Q. What if I decide in the future, after I have been accepted for publication, that I would like my work taken down from the Pandora's Ink website?
A. Please send us an email at pandorasinkemagazine@gmail.com to request the material be removed. We will attend to that immediately.
Q. If my work is accepted, will it be edited at all?
A. Accepted submissions may undergo basic edits (e.g., fixing typos or grammar). We will not alter any content but please note that by submitting your writing, you are agreeing to having our editors clean up any grammatical mistakes that are not intentional.

Q. Can I edit or replace my submission after sending it in?
A. Unless we get in touch regarding small edits that we will make to clean up any grammatical errors, all submissions that are sent through are treated as final and cannot be edited.

Q. Can I submit if I’ve been published in your magazine before?
A. Yes, absolutely! But please make sure you submit new work, and not work that has been rejected by us previously.
Q. Are word count limits flexible?
A. No, they are not. See our submission requirements for further information.
Q. Can I donate money to support this magazine?
A. We do not currently have the capacity to receive donations from individuals, however our parent company: CreativityUnleashed can. If you are interested in supporting us this way, please email creativityunleashed.org@gmail.com.
Q. Can readers suggest themes or ideas for future issues?
A. Of course! Please send us an email at pandorasinkemagazine@gmail.com with your suggestions.
Q. How do you select work that will be featured?
A. Please see our evaluation criteria located in our Submission Guidelines for this information.
Q. Can I withdraw my submission after it's been accepted?
A. Yes, absolutely, though we really hope you won’t. If for any reason you need to withdraw your work, please send us an email at pandorasinkemagazine@gmail.com.
Q. What is your policy on AI-generated writing?
A. If we suspect a creative work has been produced using AI at any point, the material will be rejected from publication.
Q: Can I make my piece anonymous?
A: Yes, you may make your piece anonymous if you do not want your name published. You are also welcome to submit your work under a pseudonym. Make sure to include this information in your submission email.
Q: Can I still submit after the deadline has passed?
A. No, you cannot. Our deadlines are final.
